We offer high-quality digital GIS network planning services

We have designed a variety of networks including FTTP, GPON, XGSPON and other gigabit and 10-gigabit network architectures. We are also experienced in rural deployment and areas with special requirements. Our hardware experience includes catalogues from Commscope, Corning, HellermanTyton, Emtelle and more.

We can facilitate many design languages;
• PIA focused design with civils avoidance being the top priority.
• Traditional new build 96-54 PVC rigid duct network with swept tee and traditional trenching.
• Overhead and underground deployment, pole networks and hybrid PIA.
• Buried BFT drop conduit for blown fibre in MicroTrench, for cost-effective long-distance runs with minimal disruption to the affected area.

We also provide the following

HLD - High-level conceptual design of network area to show proposed routes and allow for costing

LLD - Low-level design containing greater accuracy, utilising results of intrusive survey data to find the most viable routes available.

MDU - Design and provision of infrastructure required to feed properties as part of the Multi-Dwelling Unit.

High-Level Cost Estimates - Cost estimates based on HLD data to give accurate costing for the build of design based on given rates for equipment and build tasks.

UPRN Analysis - Full and concise analysis of any given UPRNs to determine the availability of feed routes.

PIA RAG Status Analysis - Analysis of PA duct routes and levels of congestion.

Feed Type Analysis - Analysis of best possible ways to feed each individual UPRN, highlighting areas where BT Openreach infrastructure could be utilised to reduce costs of the build.

Civils Packs - Detailed civils plans containing dig lengths and surface types for all works required, broken down into PON level packs.

Cable Packs - Detailed cabling packs for both feeder and distribution levels for network architecture. Full cable routes. Cable sizes and types are clearly shown and visible in packs for either individual PON areas or feeder level whole town areas.

SLD - Straight Line Diagrams. Simplified diagram showing all closures that a cable interacts with, and routing for any daisy chain configurations or direct connections back to cabinet or other closures.

Splice FNCs - Clear colour-coded splicing plans for all levels of architecture from cab down to distribution nodes.

A55 Creation - A55 notices for proposed civil works, detailing the work that is due to take place, supported by photos of the area where works are due to take place. A55s also include detailed information bout what works is due to happen including surface types and lengths.

BoM / BoQ - Bill of Materials / Quantities. An itemised list of all equipment needed for the build of particular areas. Feeder and PON levels including meterage for cables and trenches defined by surface types and cable sizes/types.

Permitting - Submission of permits, whereabouts and NOIs (notice of intents). This is required to work on BT Openreach networks and council lands. This can be submitted to each relevant authority as and when is needed. Tracking of time left on notices.

Wayleave - Identification and acquisition of wayleave for private land areas, whenever works are required that are to take place within a private property boundary as designed through the land registry.
